But right now----it's green chile cheeseburgers!!!!!!!!! The NM Dept. of Tourism has released the map for aficionados of this culinary treat. In the Clovis area, Taco Box made the cut and their version isn't bad, much better than say Mickey-D's, Wendy's, or Sonic. Peppers on the Plaza made it in La Mesilla. Bobcat Bite is on the map. Of course both the OWL and the Buckhorn are there. Who wants to accompany me and the Pirate Dogs in visiting as many as we can over maybe a long week-end this summer??

THE MAP
Ok---it's one year for Obama, State of the Union time, all kinds of stuff----like the Massachusetts senate seat the Republicans just won that has been held since 1952 not only by Democrats, but by BROTHERS John and Ted Kennedy. So much for the forefathers diatribes about royalty............And the Pirate Dogs are observing all this and we will comment----over the week-end.

Beez, my wife Mary and I are going to be in Las Cruces 2/11/10 for a week (see Mary's notes to Clairz) and i would not have to have my are twisted to join the "group" in hitting a couple of green chile cheeseburger joints during our stay! Do oyou think they like being washed down with a beer?
I think I like that Penguin Pat! (Well, except for the Yankees part)...
Yo, FP, The chiles or the pirate dogs??? The midshipman broke into my Sam Adams Winter Lager supply!!!!!!!!!!!
So glad to hear you are a Sam Adams fan. We are spoiled a bit. My son and I have taken up making beer, very, very successfully. We named it Blue Canary Cream Ale, from a They might be Giants song, which also gave us the name of our podcast, Countless Screaming Argonauts. The only other beer we will drink is Sams or stuff from a micro brewery. As a matter of fact CSA podcast was conceived in the Northampton Brewery over beer and black and bleu burgers ( blackened beef with cajun spice and bleu cheese. I don't mind if the Pirate band watches and if they imbibe, all the better...
